Who I Am

I've worked as a hairstylist for over 20 years. I trained and built my career in Shibuya, Tokyo, where I had the privilege of styling well-known personalities and public figures. Later, I spent several years in Singapore, caring for an international clientele — Western and Asian guests alike — which gave me a deep appreciation for how different hair textures, cultures, and expectations shape a truly personalized experience.

Along the way, I earned certification as a Curist through EraL, a Japanese scalp-care brand known for its plant-and-science-based approach to scalp health. As a certified Curist, I'm trained to deliver EraL's signature Head Cure treatment — a method that goes beyond relaxation to genuinely restore the scalp's natural balance. Why YUKInoSpa Exists

I was born and raised in Hokkaido, and I love this land deeply. After traveling around the world, I saw firsthand how much international visitors long to genuinely connect with the places they visit — not just see them. That experience inspired me to create a salon where travelers to Japan can feel Hokkaido through touch, scent, and stillness — not just sightseeing, but a real sensory encounter with this place.

The Experience

YUKInoSpa is fully private. Each guest has the entire room to themselves for the duration of their treatment — no shared space, no rush, just quiet comfort from start to finish. English-speaking guests are always welcome.
